How we started
The acronym E.B.F stands for Ecocide Blue Foundation as the name implies we are willing to incorporate Ecocide agenda in the blue economy in Nigeria

We are a start-up organisation that wants to do some cleaning up of the shore,sea, waterways alongside the coastal communities in the Atlantic Ocean areas around Nigeria.
WHERE TO GO
EBFESI is duly registered as an NGO and piloted by a team / group of professionals which cut across different vocations comprising group of maritime lawyers Our organisation is partnering with other organisations to tap into the new trend of technologies for climate mitigation measures which includes renewable energy, energy efficiency measures, carbon capture and storage (CCS), sustainable agriculture, electric and hydrogen vehicles, blockchain for sustainability, and smart technologies. Similarly, climate adaptation technologies include climateresilient infrastructure, early warning systems, water management tools, biodiversity monitoring, urban planning using GIS, climate-resilient crops, and community engagement toolsOur task are huge but we are committed to bring in federal and State government,it's agencies , other investors, companies and stakeholders and students researchers in the blue economy to arrange for the usage of technology in achieving this goal.
We are planning to introduce Ecocide idea in any proposed bill or law to various law making bodies in attempt to build a wider audience and awareness about the environment harm done to nature especially as it concerns the blue economy.
We are planning on putting together awareness advocacy symposium showcasing the sustainable environmental management of the blue economy and summit as the case maybe this 2024.
We will be willing to undergo further training and mentoring session to prepare ourselves for the sustainable business and environmental advocacy so as to strengthen our resolve hence we are open to your organisation other similar NGO directives, collaboration and partnership.

Our History
Our organisation was registered in late 2023 by I and my professional team whom comprises of a group of maritime lawyers, marine experts, professional divers and biologist residing abroad and in Nigeria

Our goal is to lend our voice to the sustainable development and management of the ocean resources which cut across the coastal communities, waterways, shore and aquatic regions especially in the rich oil and Gas Niger Delta region and coastal communities of Nigeria.

Our organisation is registered in Nigeria and known as E.B.F Environmental Sustainable Initiative.The acronym E.B.F stands for Ecocide Blue Foundation as the name implies we are willing to incorporate Ecocide agenda in the blue economy in Nigeria, Sub Saharan regions and the Africa continent at large.

Our organisation was registered in late 2023 by I and my professional team whom comprises of a group of maritime lawyers, marine experts, professional divers and biologist residing abroad and in Nigeria. We are yet to officially do our inauguration ceremony which is on the front burner and at the moment we are writing letters of introduction to relevant government agencies in the environmental regulations, maritime operations and aquatic business informing them of our activities and the need to engage with us in our passion to bring sustainable development practical solutions to the environmental degradation, socioeconomic challenges facing the blue economy and it’s inhabitants.So far this is the update on the things we have been working on
Why we Advocate for ahealthy environment
The reason we are using our platform to advocate for the sustainable environmental management of the blue economy is borne out of the fact that coastal communities are most devastated by the harm of Oil and Gas mining industry players both international oil companies and local content operations from hitherto
I hope this message is concise and a clear reflection of our quest to advance the frontiers of ESG, Ecocide law and sustainable development.We have also contacted United Nations Global Compact and we have expressed our desire to register with them and eventually in our activities
we intend to proclaim the Ten principles of United Nations Global Compact.
